In April 2016, Q Holding Company, d.b.a. Quality Synthetic Rubber (QSR), received the coveted AS9100 Aerospace Certification* for its Twinsburg, Ohio facility, announced Randy Ross, President and CEO of Q Holding.

Backed by a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience in producing connector seals and other components for the automotive industry, QSR is poised to take on the challenge of manufacturing products under strict AS9100 guidelines.

According to Ross, QSR has constructed a dedicated aerospace room housing specialized equipment in anticipation of new business. “We have also made significant investments in materials development and FEA capabilities. This, along with extensive engineering expertise, allows us to offer best-in-class assistance to customers looking for a partner to work closely with them throughout the production process.”

“We are eagerly anticipating the new opportunities the AS9100 certification will present and we invite aerospace company representatives to contact us for a tour of the facility or to discuss our new capabilities,” said Ross.

*AS9100 is an aerospace standard based on the ISO 9001 quality system requirements. AS9100 takes the ISO 9001 requirements and supplements them with additional quality system requirements, which are established by the aerospace industry in order to satisfy DOD, NASA and FAA quality requirements.
