Mauricio Arellano

Mauricio is passionate about fostering a customer-centric culture in which every QSR associate understands and is passionate about the very important mission Q serves and the critical role Q plays for its customers. He believes in earning trust and creating value for all key stakeholders by actively modeling Q’s core values and developing win-win partnerships.

A seasoned senior executive with a keen ability to efficiently and profitably grow global businesses, Mauricio previously served as the President of the Medical Division of Pexco. After being acquired by Kohlberg & Company in 2017, Pexco merged with PPC Industries and became Spectrum Plastics Group, a leading extrusion, injection molding, bioresorbables and assembly Medical Device outsourcing company with 16 plants and over 2,000 employees worldwide. Mauricio served as the President of the Medical Division of Spectrum Plastics Group until the company was sold to AEA in early 2018.

Prior to Pexco, Mauricio held several executive leadership positions at Greatbatch, including President of its Medical Division. After the transformative acquisition of Lake Region Medical in 2015, Greatbatch became Integer Holdings with Mauricio holding the position of EVP of Global Operations with responsibility for 30 manufacturing sites and over 9,000 employees. During his 13-year tenure with the company, Mauricio was instrumental in transforming Greatbatch from a $160M component manufacturer into one of the largest medical device outsourcing companies in the world with $1.4B in annual revenues. Before Greatbatch, Mauricio held various operational management positions in world class companies like Tyco Healthcare (Now Medtronic) and Sony Electronics.

Mauricio holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and outside of work, he looks forward to spending time with his family and engaging in fitness/sports activities. An avid soccer player most of his life, Mauricio enjoys the competitive nature of sports and credits his participation with giving him a deep appreciation for the teamwork, commitment and discipline required to compete successfully, whether on the field or in business.
